A view of the aisle and stall fronts inside the barn.  Each stall has Dutch doors opening to the aisle as well as to the outside.
A boarder's horse and a lesson pony enjoying our lush green pastures.  We mow, fertilize (organically), and re-seed for optimal nutrition.
A view of the ring, barn, and house.  Our rings are dragged regularly to maintain soft level footing.
Two of Heron Mead Farm's ex-racehorses being
"let down" before starting re-training.  The horses have
the choice of being outside or in their individual run-in sheds.
As you can see, even though it's snowy, they're clearly
enjoying the option of being outside!
Emily Urban and her pony, Merrylegs, show jumping.  Since Spring of 2007, both rider and pony benefitted from our boarding, lesson, and training programs.  They were generally in the "ribbons" every time out at Novice level at USEA events in 2008.

Two boarders' horses appreciating the windows in
their individual run-in sheds.  Heron Mead Farm
offers a wide variety of turn-out options.  These two
older horses, for various reasons, require individual
turn-out and, because of the options available,
they're still able to be turned-out 24/7.
